How Does It Work:

The Solicitor Exchange process is designed to minimise your time and administration input and would typically work as follows:

  1. Your firm identifies any number of ‘live’ cases that may no longer fit your acceptance criteria, are deemed to be too ‘borderline’ or are close to limitation.

  2. Bakers Solicitors arranges to go through these cases and, based on our expertise in this area, assess their viability moving forward.

  3. A lien over your costs to date is agreed for Bakers Solicitors to take over the running of the case.

  4. Bakers Solicitors handle all regulatory / client contact issues and proceeds to run the case, including considering the insurance requirements if appropriate in conjunction with Keystone Legal.

  5. Feedback reports are provided for closed and concluded cases
